Avi Sagron

Avi is a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc) and has a Master Degree in Systems Engineering (MESE) - Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

Avi has extensive experience in leading large scale projects of vehicle (platform) enhancement programs as an engineering manager and a design engineer in the world wide defense industry. 

 

Avi has vast experience in the fields of:

 

Management:

• Managing team of engineers

• Project management with budgets that exceed AUD $5M for design and development

• Development of instructions and procedures for design group work

 

Systems engineering and design

• Development of functional and performance specifications

• Systems integration design

• Safety design and analysis

• Development of various system analysis reports for internal/external acceptance of products

 

Mechanical Design

• Detailed mechanical design

• Design for manufacturing and assembly

• Design for ergonomics and environment conditions

• Execution of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) studies

• Review and approve engineering designs and documentation

• Concept demonstrators

 

Previously, Avi worked in Australia in the Australian defense industry for Elbit Systems of Australia (ELSA). ELSA is an Australian software and integration company owned by an Israeli parent company - Elbit Systems LTD (ESL). Avi has been sent to Australia by ESL to establish a local branch after ESL successfully won the LAND75/125 project with the Australian Defense Material

Organization (DMO).
